ADA Compliance

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal law which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability. The Town of Ross is committed to complying with ADA guidelines to ensure our Town is accessible to all. Ross is currently working on town ADA transition plans which include making Town Hall and the city council chambers more accessible as well as improving the quality and quantity of public access paths throughout town.

To make housing available to individuals with disabilities, Chapter 18.54 of the Ross Municipal Code states that any person may request a modification or exception to the rules, standards and practices for the siting, development and use of housing or housing related facilities to eliminate any barriers. Please direct questions, concerns, complaints, and requests regarding accessibility for people with disabilities, including persons with developmental disabilities, to Roberta Feliciano at rfeliciano@townofross.org.
